Sorry, I meant the 2 meg board from Spirit Technology. I don't recall it's
proper name. The board is very small, uses 256k x 4 chips, and worked
perfectly with a C Ltd controller for the borrowed hard drive. There is an
external power supply available for the memory board to alleviate any power
supply problems.
Anyway, my inten]s simply to relate my very favorable experience with the
Spirit internal 2 meg board for the A500. I highly recommend it.
As with any add-on hardware product, though, be sure the dealer will take it
back if it doesn't work with your particular configuration.
