Hello all – Since my name is being tossed around here, I'd like to jump in and see if I can clarify things a bit, though Nik's already done a pretty fair job. (Thanks Nik!) I am Manager of Multimedia Developer Relations for Autodesk. This program is designed to assist developers of software (primarily) and hardware (secondarily) that work with and/or augment our core products. I am NOT responsible for providing technical support, (and in most cases not qualified), though I often do try to provide an alternate communications channel for developers in need. I'd like to put in a plug for the program here, by the way. We would love to hear from any developers who have IPAS or other applications that augment 3D Studio or other Autodesk MM products. The most efficient/reliable/trackable way to get in touch with me is via the Internet at xris@autodesk.com. I do have a Cserve account (70550,2710), but don't check in as regularly as I do on my primary (internet) account. A second method is fax, at 415/491-8308. And then there's the ever-popular phone at 415/491-8727, as previously mentioned. Due to the popularity of the latter method and due to the fact that I can only access the messages in a linear fashion, while translating them into another medium, usually electronic, there are often delays. I'm sorry for that, and I do appreciate the tenacity of most I've dealt with. I hope this over-long message helps out – please get back to me with any further issues, problems or queries you may have. Thanks for your attention, Xris.
