Chuck: You need to look into switched Ethernet. There is a new Ethernet switch (the name I don't remember) which fits inside the server, and gives 60 Mb/s aggregate speed to the bus, and 8 external channels. It handles all bridge/routing tasks, so the server doesn't even see packets not meant for it. On LANtastic, proper settings of the server startup parameters (including burst) will improve performance significantly. Evan
