Karlk, Yes, I was surprised, too. Be sure to only use the specific resolution drivers. The generic PicassoVideo driver uses an extra 1.28 meg of ram and is much slower. Also be sure to increase the Drivers memory in Emplant Memory setup to 64K. I found a significant increase in hard drive access speed and I even think it helped the video! (I think I recall you are using an Emplant.) I have found a couple of Emplant bugs. Actually, they may be Mac software related problems, I'm not sure which. One is that the Now Utilities AlarmsClock won't work. Finder bomb reports a "buss error", whatever that means. The second is that I cannot get any of my Fax programs to work properly. They seem to get to the point of dialing and connecting, but then the whole machine goes south. Possibly these will be fixed with version 3.8, but we'll have to wait and see.
