Hello: After listening for the past 3 years to all of the problems that as a group you have solved, I would appreciate help with an Amigabasic search and replace dilemma. I am looking for a way to achieve the following: Use search/query/replace to edit a program IN MEMORY. Use of a HOTKEY to reach CLI from basic. I have been using Ed,MeMacs, and various word processors to accomplish this in the past. Since the programs that I write are 200K plus, there is not enough RAM left to MULTITASK, load a identical program, edit and save to disk. Even if I had enough RAM to do this, I would still be forced to re-load to continue working on the program. (1) Am I over looking a simple solution to this problem? (2) Since Amigabasic is disk based, can a hook be used to wedge in these features? (3) If Shareware exists my checkbook is open! ( If SHE who must be OBEYED will authorize it ) Thanks in advance Jesse Shadle 72217,3232
