#Memory HELP!
Dean, I had a couple more questions to ask you before I change the chip.
First, since I have to go out and buy a 41256, does it have to be the same
speed (150) as the rest, or can I buy 120 or 100? Second, as I told you, I used
two Mem test programs-MEMTEST and MTEST-2 to determine the address at fault.
MEMTEST uses (I believe) a test called the sum test, which gave the error at
2019A2. MTEST-2 uses (I believe) a values test, and gave the error at 2019A3.
When I went in with the editor 2019A2 seemed fine but 2019A3 was the problem.
How could these two programs report an error at two different addresses, and,
does that really matter?
