I have "Algorithms in C", John, and I just threw away an Addison-Wesley Book Express junk mailing today that was advertising the C++ version. It contains pattern-matching algorithms, simple hashing algorithms, search & sort stuff, compression algorithms, etc. but nothing earth-shattering. It's a great first-course book. We used the Pascal version ("Algorithms") in our algorithms course at UNC, and I liked it well enough to buy the C version on my own later. Anyway, if you want the ISBN, call me at work and I'll give it to you. –Doug
