Those flashes were explained in an article I wrote for TRANSACTOR a year or two
ago, but that referred to the startup routines. Whether the same rules would
apply after startup is apparently undocumented, since I searched every bit of
literature I could find for the information. The documentation is in the back
of the hardware manual, fine print section, very near the end of the book.
