#DPS card

The DPS card installs in one of the Amiga slots, and has two ribbon
cables that drape over the Disk bay area and connect to the Toaster
board directly. Don't worry, there are diagrams showing exactly how.
The DPS PCA will accept up to three S-Video inputs corresponding to
Toaster Input channels 1-3 and will output TWO S-Video Program
outputs, These inputs and outputs are all on the back of the DPS
board, no connections need be made to the Toaster at all. You can
mix and match however, by setting DIP switches on the PCA configure
any input to S-Video or Composite. If you want composite you just
plug into the Toaster. The Composite program and Preview outs are
also still available on the Toaster board in unison with the 2 S-Vid
program outs on the PCA. So it's very handy as a S-Video Video DA.\
I've got two 1970's and an AG455, I control them and the Toaster with a MS-DOS
machine running TAO Editizer. And I know what you mean about 3rd generation
loss in dubbing. Don't expect miracles from the PCA, but I feel it was well
worth 425 to me for that extra little bit of clarity.
I do mainly Industrial Sales and Training Videos. Usually involving Lightwave
animated logo Treatments which I bring to life with DCTV encoded animations.
Very powerfull stuff for the budget minded videographer.
