#Strange video
Here's a brand new problem for me that I'm hoping some of you guys can help me
on:
the system: 4000/040/120MHD/Seagate 450M/Toaster/YC Plus/PAR w/ IDE 500M HD/TAO
Edit Controller/A-B roll system w/3 Panasonic AG-7750/Knox Blackburst
Generator.
the problem: when editing using either A/B deck, the Record deck monitor
picture looks fine. But when I take the record tape out of the Record deck and
play it back in either A/B deck, the picture has shifted down substantially
enough to reveal a black bar filled with white blinking dots along the top of
the monitor screen. I just returned from having the PAR w/ dedicated hard drive
and the Seagate HD installed and completed a project just prior to taking it
down. Is it possible that the installation could have changed something or is
this one of those weird video signal problems.
