Some of the more newsy stuff is obviously a bit dated but what a feast for the
brain! Especially John Toebes article "Internationalizing Your Programs."
THIS IS MUST READING PEOPLE.
John did us a disservice implying the article has tips for making progs. that
work in PAL or NTSC environments. It has tips for writing programs THAT WORK.
Period. Since going to an interlace Workbench I am continually maddened by
programs that don't understand different font sizes, don't recognize
"morerows," etc. This is as bad a sin as hard-coding drive names where a
program looks for files (worse, since NewZap can't fix it). As John's article
shows doing things right ain't too hard at all. I was immediately able to put
some of his code to work…cake. — Art
