They are being marketed solely on the VL and PCI busses as a high end Windows, AutoCAD, etc accelerator. Believe it or not, the design of the 2's (and the fact that they are not encumbered with the potential addition of the z-buffering hardware) makes them FASTER that the MGA's even though they use the same circuitry!
