What card are you trying to set up? What you want to do is delete the 3dsadi.cfg, then type 3ds vibcfg. This will bring you to a very straightforward setup screen where you will select the appropriate video card choices for 3d editor, renderer, and mat edit, and also for flics (although I use the default here). If you have a Hercules Graphite, for instance, then you'd choose the vibrant driver for the 3d editor, renderer, and materials editor, and select the Herculese Graphite for all these choices.
