I think a _lot_ of people will be suprized by what the ST can accomplish, "low
cost" and all. There are a couple of new programs around the bend which are
mind boggling. It's true, it doesn't have the Amiga's added capabilities, but
is a solid workhorse.
'SSS' is Star Systems Software, Inc., my "development firm." (At the height of
the HomePak project, we had 8 programmers working here and out of house.)
Started it mainly for protection when I did Preppie! ages ago. We've done some
contract work for some firms like Atari, but most of our stuff has been for
third-party publishers like Batteries Included. Going on 5 years now.
I'm still in the Orlando area. I got married in August, and am still eking out
a living doing software development. The way I figure it – if I can write
software anywhere in the country, I might as well do it where I only need one
wardrobe, regardless of season. hehe
