Interesting rumor. I believe Commodore was trying to strike a deal with some
of the smaller chains like Electronics Boutique to carry CD32. I believe EB
will pick-up if CBM can delivery on more titles.
BTW, we just received a CD32 with MPEG module. Video quality is very, very
good! The 2nd Edition of the CD32 Demo Disk also had a very impressive
playable demo of "Microcosm" a new CD32 game from Psygnosis. Extremely HOT!
The intro is based on CDXL and the animations, many rotoscoped, are very
impressive.
