Just a note to point out that the price difference ain't that high! The Lattice compiler lists for $149…the Amiga Assembler lists for $99. That adds up to $248. The Developers version of Aztec (which is fully optimized) lists for $299. The difference of about $50 buys you a compiler which runs 5 to 6 times faster, generates objects that are half the size, and generates code that executes faster…especially if you are using floating point math. And, of course, Aztec includes a *much* faster assembler than the Amiga assembler. Price/performance ratios are clearly in favor of Aztec. Rick Schaeffer
