It doesn't even do 640 x 200, only 320 x 200. Images will do 640 x 200 if you pay Aegis ten bucks. That really sucks. It does iff format, so you can edit pictures and brushes in both Dpaint and Images. You can use Dpain or Images screens as backdrops in Animator, and can use brushes from Dpaint (called windows in Images) in animation. Animation of brushes is limited to movement only: no rotation, spinning, morphing or color change. The use of external images is badly documented, but two of the sample animations use static images. All in all, both are fun programs, but require a lot more playing and reading to get going compared to Dpaint. Chris
