I beg to differ. I look through the pages of Microtimes here in the Bay Area,
and P5 systems (not talking about brand names, quality, and engineering here,
just P5 systems) go from $600 more and up. There systems are usually ISA VLB
taiwanese motherboards, and I've had less than satisfactory experiences with
cheapo MB's so I wouldn't get one, but there are plenty of folks out there
making them work. I'm holding out for a DEC XL, personally.
