You're right. Even though it sounded like I was disagreeing with Martin's and John E's and others' opinions about shitty movies, I really don't I have the feeling we like many of the same flicks. I just wanted to throw in another perspective, and I tend to get a little riled when people start viewing "hollywood" as this machine sort of thing, when it's really this mostly unorganized gaggle of producers, etc…, who are up against really bizarre odds to be successful in making movies, good or bad. I really don't want to get into creative content, other than offer my opinion, because I believe strongly in the right to show whatever, and the right to like whatever, and the right to veiw whatever. I think there is a justifiable, and good moveing force in many people, including audience and filmmakers, to change this "easy kill" method of movie makers. I think violence is slowly losing popularity (it will always be part of drama, but to what extent?) in step with it's growing power in everyone's lives. John Tissavary (La Luna cie)
