I believe there are files in each directory containing at least abbreviated information on each file. However, if you want full up-to-date information, you can do this: Turn on your terminal program's CAPTURE mode and give it a file name. Go into the library in which you are interested. Type DIR/DES. This asks for a DIRectory of all files including a DEScription of each. Go get a cup of coffee, because this could take a while. If you are interested in other libraries as well, loop back to the second step. When you're finished, close your capture file, log off, and exit your terminal program. You now have a plain ASCII file which you can pull into any text editor and peruse at your leisure. Don't forget you can use your editor's SEARCH function to find any reference that interests you.
