Hmmmm. I am going to PC land because of software, pure and simple. I have
been running a 386sx board in my A3000 for about 8 months and with no
trouble with IRQs, or anything else. Autoexec.bat and config.sys are no
different in essence to startup-sequence or any other file in S: I use
Quicken every day, Excel most days and am getting on quite well with
Wperfect. I don't have anything like the bother so often seen in the
various forums and also wonder what all, the fuss is about.
I agree the Amiga is a fine machine but by itself it ain't much good, it
needs software and if it isn't there? Well….
