So much for your flaming response…as they are all gone. So, the answer to my
original question, is, a resounding "no". Besides the fact that a top of the
line 3Com 3C509 costs under $150 I consider the $325 for an ethernet board for
the Amiga OUTRAGEOUS. An unlimited license pack for FTP Software is way out of
league but there are LOTS of ways onto a net, including all sorts of goodies
from clarkston. I used to use their freeware over a Novell IPX and Net3 and a
65$ ether card. Granted NFS is more than what the average person might want,
but that doesn't mean it should cost $1000 to "mount" a hard drive, that they
should'nt be able to do it without writing their own NFS, or that they should
be scolded. With toasters selling lke hotcakes, one would think that SOMEONE
woudl be cashing in on networking products. Thanx for the lead, dude! =Scott
