If you need "rcp" into NT box and are willing to forego a little in security (file ownership issues), you can run WinQVT/Net for WinSock and activate it's "rcp server". i do this and rcp into NT from my Unix boxes all the time. Yes, it's a kludge, but it's a really FINE kludge <g>. Please note that my target NT box is configured to AutoAdminLogin and QVT is started out of the startup group for the userid I'm running (which is, BTW, "root" – this helps out a lot in asserting priv when pushing things via rsh into the Unix boxes!). Cheers, Walt. Read action !re e Enter reply. (/EXIT when done) 1: I'm familiar with the WinQVT/Net. I tried the Windows version 2: 6-8 months ago and found its perofornamcemance abysmmal, al, like 10K 3: per second trasnfnsfer speed. I saw a newer version, online, bu 4: t haven't tried it. I'll try it now. 5: /post Message # 161496 posted
