I'm still not sure exactly what your trying to do. Are you trying to use the 'place' command to place an .AI file that was done in Adobe Illustrator into another image? If not, than your using the wrong command, because thats all it does. If your trying to combine two or more bitmap files (tga's or whatever) into one image, then the easiest thing to do is use a selection tool to select the area you want, and copy it to the clipboard, then activate the image you want to put it into and paste it in. However, there are several ways of combining images, so I'd need to know exactly what your trying to accomplish to really be of much help. Also, if your trying to combine an EPS file with a normal bitmap, you'll probably need to convert the EPS file first. If this doesn't help, give me some details on what you want to do, and I'll try to let you know the best way of going about it. David
