Ben,
I was rattling your cage and letting off steam over RGB's problems at t he
same time. I don't midn the dongle either except the non-transparent part
and the way it has forced me to go to switchboxes and extra parallel port
cards and I still can't print out a list fromt he program while its
running without shutting everything down, re-cableing the printer, firing
it all up doint the print, take it all down… Just doesn't seem like the
way a $4500 piece of professional software should operate.
As for the ping server, I'll look at the Fish CD's that came with the cdfs
upgrades and see if its there. May be a few days…
