I just read in last weeks EETimes also that a bunch of companies is
now working together on a 250MIPS very low cost chip set with MPEG2
etc., capabilities for set top boxes and is planning for availability
early in '95. This could be a serious threat to Commodore's chances
of getting into this market. It's also unclear to me what chances HP
has in this market at all no matter what they do since it seems a bit
out of their area.
