Unfortunately, said programmer is no junior. He has seen the "games" and tricks. He has also seen what a flat-out 68000 system can do. Look, we all know 68000 is a top processor. My bitch is that the super-dooper OS eats up this good advantage, and we don't dazzle them. Is it that all Amiga programmers are second rate? Is the performance just slow? Online! takes 10 seconds to load its phone menu. Lync, on IBM is faster than your finger. Our "top house" gave us Artic Fox. A "best effort" by a group tied to CA. Is that the best Amiga can do? To repeat, most commercial video games, that are fast use the 68000. Why can't the Amiga match that performance? I think the bottom line is that the Amiga hardware could, but not with the present OS. ..An unpopular comment, but somebody has to say it…
