The main bugaboo seems to be that people are trying to record non-interlaced signals, which will occaisionally work o.k., but is misguided. I've recorded the Amiga signal on professional 3/4" recorders, and edited it on Sony BVU-800s, and it was fine. But you have to be in interlaced mode. To get there, trundle down to your use group or whatever, and find a copy of the PD program SETLACE. Then run it before you do anything else. (I can vouch for it working with ANIMATOR, but I don't know yet about DPAINT. It could concievably reset everything, but then again, maybe it doesn't.) Good Luck! Jeric
