NTSC recording

The main bugaboo seems to be that people are trying to record non-interlaced
signals, which will occaisionally work o.k., but is misguided. I've recorded
the Amiga signal on professional 3/4" recorders, and edited it on Sony
BVU-800s, and it was fine. But you have to be in interlaced mode. To get
there, trundle down to your use group or whatever, and find a copy of the PD
program SETLACE. Then run it before you do anything else. (I can vouch for
it working with ANIMATOR, but I don't know yet about DPAINT. It could
concievably reset everything, but then again, maybe it doesn't.) Good Luck!
