This message turned up in search, but its forum couldn’t be identified from the original transcript, so it may not be linked into its thread.
I too heard those rumors, and my best source says the company is named
Ahmed Research International, in England, run by a guy named Shahid Ahmed.
They claim to have an ST Emulator for the Amiga, priced at 15 pounds, or
about $25. They supposed have Macintosh and C-64 emulators as well. They
say the price is so because they want it to be a loss leader for the other
emulators. I heard another rumor that said they want to blast them out to
make a quick buck before anyone's lawyers can stop them. Frankly, it
sounds like more PC/ET and C-64 emulator smoke and mirrors. I wouldn't
hold your breath waiting for these.
