UltraDesign was written by Scott Halbert for some artistic, non tech friends, to design things like jewelry. It is not like any other CAD program and is much easier to use, intuitive for an AMiga user. It worked fine on my A2500, but on an A4000 any change in pen color tends to white on white, which is a bit hard to read. One would have thought a simple fix, but Mr. Halbert is out of time and money and I can't persuade him to try. He said he was writing a PC version. The program was marketed by Progressive Peripherals but they dropped it because they could not get S.H. to support it. I think its a real shame. It would be an ideal program for many purposes. Still worth getting if you are not using an A4000? But not as an alternative to AutoCADD.
