Henry, I agree, WP has fixed the product, I was just stating some possible reasons for lingering bad feelings. As to SRP, I'm sure the IBM version costs about the same on a wholesale level as the Amiga version…so why not lower the cost of the entire line to more properly reflect the true figures. Again…this goes back to the idea that somehow or other the cost of a product is somehow or other related to the usefullness or professional level of the product. If WP is truly worth $400, then the wholesale price should be about $300 and WP ought to keep the extra markup because their product is 'worth it'. Hasn't anyone at WP Corp (or any other large publisher) ever heard that lowering the SRP so it's more in line with actual selling price is a good idea and would promote better competition between the various software publishers? When I first heard the SRP of $400 (and not knowing the real wholesale price at that point)…I immediately put WP out of my 'wish list' category. I'm sure others did also. Had the SRP been more in line with reality ($260), which still allows a substantial markup for the dealers, they probably would have sold more copies both in the Amiga world and the IBM world. Don
