Thanks for something concrete. I'll try the first item you mentioned.
I've used multiple columns with no problems, but haven't done block-deletes
in them. I'll see.
I've always used timed backups, however, with no problems. I was
using 10 min. intervals when I first started using WP, now I use 15.
That third item is also something that I haven't had any problem
with, so I'll have to try an extra long path to test it. I try to keep my
subdirectory names on the short side anyway – just to save typing. But I will
try it.
