ok, i figured i could not get below 256 colors on a picasso screen. the video speed is sometimes a bit chunky (slows down for a little bit, then snaps back normal speed) and i thought 16 colors might speed it up. i guess i'll have to wait for a driver that supports it. yes, you are right the amiga 16 color screen is very, very, very, very darn slow (unless you happen to enjoy watching every segment of the screen being drawn piece by piece). 🙂 bob
