I am not 'most people'. I don't know, and don't particularly care what
'most people' wuld do if they were in the position of looking at the
numbers from the vendor's viewpoint. I know what I would do. Put out the
best product I knew how to put out, at the best price i could put it out
at, and offer the best support I could for it. Since I know that CP does
not stop theft, why would I further erode my profits by spending money
adding copy protection to the product? It's useless, and further, if the
vendor _knows_ that it doesn't do any good, it's _stupidity_ to put it in.
