Read carefully what you've written " … a terminal program running on a
512KST is alot more powerful than one running on a 512K Amiga…" Yes,
but… (and all the stipulations that everybody has added so far…) AND the
fact that the ST program HAS to provide everything else because there ain't
no such animal as a multitasking ST. Further, Your choice of programs is
_YOUR_ choice – you live and prosper or decay and die thereupon (ghastly
imagery if I do say so myself)
Anyhow, don't lay the blame at the feet of the Amiga itself vs the ST itself.
The programs you use by your choice are the crux of the problem.
