Ariel – Yes I have two seperate views and copper lists. I originally used
the view generated by OpenScreen, OpenWindow. Woah wait a minute. You only
need one view, what you need two of is viewports. Anyway I got one of them
from intuition (because I wanted IDCMP without the effort of MakePort) and
the other I just attached to my very own bitmap. The other attachments
(rasinfo, rastport etc.) are already in the screen or window so I used
those. It worked fine too. Well almost. It just didn't like to be depth
arranged. Strange stuff. Anyway I fooled around some more and got it
working corectly last night. Now I have my own View (as well as two
viewports) and it works fine. Can't crash it anymore. The old screen and
window are only around to allow me to close up cleanly. I still want to
know why I couldn't share Intuition's view though. Oh well. I'll upload
the source as soon as I'm totally happy with it.
