Toaster Install Problem
Machine: Amiga 3000, 8 MB ZIP memory, PPI 68040 board, SunRize AD-516, Toaster
4000, GVP ioExtender serial/parallel port board
The Toaster 4000 software was installed on my second hard disk. I replaced the
hard disk with a bigger device and tried to install the Toaster software from
floppy. It gets to disk #9 and then stops, telling me that "An Error Occurred"
or some equally uninformative message. This is repeatable. Quite.
1. What to do?
2. What is a good way to convince Newtek to provide more informative error
messages? Or is it Someone Else's Problem?
3. I'd really like to install the Toaster software on my first hard disk, but
the install program won't let me; it won't even show me the first hard disk.
What's its beef?
Suggestions, comments, questions, snide remarks will be welcomed. Thank you.
