Hi Mike! I TRIED that with no luck. I went into Amiga Preferences and set my Workbench background to color 000, black. When I rendered the image, a sphere with all globals for sky set to zero, Imagine gave me a black background, but it was NOT transparent to video. I got the same thing as before, video showing only around the borders of the background. As before, loading this IFF image into DPaint confirmed that Imagine had rendered the black background with color 1, NOT color zero in the palette. I can't understand why this doesn't work. I've tried everything I can think of, but the results are always the same. Any other ideas? George
