Tom,
As I have stated all along….while many users have 2 and more add-ons
on an A1000…there is no guarantee that any one particular A1000 will work
with any more than 1 add on device. There are quite a few cases of folks
having the PALs grounded and still not being able to use a specific 2 add-ons.
Changing the order of the add-ons sometimes helped, sometimes didn't, changing
one of the add-ons a different board, but same model, brand,etc. sometimes
worked, sometimes didn't.
It's a hit and miss proposition and there are lots of cases of 'misses'
no matter what the user does to try to get the add-ons to work together. The
plain and simple fact is that the side slot on an A1000 (and A500) is rated for
ONE add-on which can be a box or a board.
