#A4008 -> A4098 Upgrade?
Hello,
I purchased a A4008 board for my A4000/040, and am using it with a
SQ3105 SyQuest 105m Removable Drive, Wangtek 5150 ES Tape Backup, and a SCSI-2
Fast 560m Micropolis drive. I saw your Advert in Amigaworld showing a product
called the A4098… My questions are thus: Is this card currently available for
shipment? If so, how much is an upgrade from the A4008 to the A4098?
Also, I have noticed that when I access any of the SCSI devices the
screen "jumps" or "flashes" in a manner similar to the look of going from one
screen resolution to another with the A4000. (Brief black screen, flash screen
back, repeat)
Is there anyone there that has a fix for this problem, or have there
been any other reports of similar problems? I have tried using a bare system
with just the A4008 and the base 2m/4m RAM installed and still had the problem
no matter what SCSI device I tried…
