Chungfan, No I didn't realise there are 4 kinds of Kims… how is that? 🙂 Typically in terms of print Graphics and to an increasing degree in Broadcast, the Mac Platform is predominant. The PC has been the mainstay of the Business community. But because of Windows many of the applications that were only available on the Mac are now being ported over to the PC. Overall the PC is most predominant. The last I heard there were some 35,000 copies of 3DS worldwide which is more than all the big ones combined. Gives you an idea of how relatively specialised the 3D animation market is. 2 years from now I expect that it will be on the order of AutoCAD in terms of sales globally. This is speculation, but there are strong indicators that this will happen. I agree, I wish there were 30 hours in a day, as many here do, that would leave 6 hours for sleep. <G> I am not aware of any Meccas for electronic parts as there are in Japan. There are places in cities like L.A. which have good electronic stores but not like the centralized areas in Akihabara and Nippon-Bashi which are world famous. I would really enjoy visiting Nippon-Bashi some time. To me it would be like Disney Land. 🙂 -JE
