This is a DOS 5.0 bug. You have "too much" memory free (that's a first). You
probably have everything loaded high and lots of free memory down below. In
DOS 5.0, if a "packed" file (you shouldn't concern about packed or unpacked as
that's a program generation option) is loaded below a certain memory area,
it assumes the file is corrupted.
The fix is easy. Just use the LOADFIX utility. You will find that in the DOS
directory. It should be in your path, so all you have to do is type:
LOADFIX CHAOS <Enter>
