The "BetaSP on a Budget" machines are fine for most work, but I would not
include single frame as 'most work'!
If they are in an editing bay, you have all the functionality of the
Jog/Shuttle control, etc. with your editor.
You don't have access to the TBC controls normally, but there is an external
control for it as an option.
The specs are a bit lower than the PVW-2800, but use the good tape for a single
dub and you'll be OK, IMHO.
