Robert, The choice is left to you on the FFS vs OFS. If you plan to autoboot a small OFS partion is in order. If not, then you can FFS the whole drive or partitions. Autoboot is nice, however, I elected to FFS all partions for myself at home. I really do plan to use the autoboot feature when available for the C Ltd controllers. I will however enjoy the increased speed in drive access. If you partition your drive, you will have to have seperate Icons for each. OFS or FFS does not enter into it. Assuming you wish to access them via WB. In the manual recomendations for new interleaves were given, I would low level the drive under the new suggested one for your drive. Since partitions are treated as seperate volumes: by AmigaDos. You can mix OFS and FFS partitions on the same Hard Drive, if you wa There are a lot of pro and cons to any senario. If you like Customer Service will go into great detail about them. Their number is (316) 267-0202. Not in Cust. Service, nor Tech. Support, but feel free to ask for me, if you wish. Fred –
