Taking a poll….
On a recent project I worked we use a 68000 as a supplementary processor to
the PC. We discovered that we neeeded more speed so we began an
investigation into the EC020 and EC030. The electrical engineer I was
working with built an adapter to put an EC020 and FP into a 68000 socket.
The cost of parts was neglible and it worked perfectly. Basically your
talking about the difference in price from the EC020 and the 68K. Maybe
$200 is a bit low but it would certainly be cheaper than a VXL-30 or Mega
Midget Racer.
