Hmmmmm, I don't think you are right. If I hold down both mouse buttons
on my 3000 I get a kickstart menu that allows me to choose either
kickstart 1.3 or 2.x and to load from either floppy or HD. I also have a
superkickstart disk that has both 1.3 and 2.x. Maybe you were thinking of
the 4000? Nahhhh. My 3000 does not have the kickstart rom. Maybe 1.3 will
not take advantage of all of the 3000's hdwe. features but it does work. I
got rid of the useless 1.3 partition soon after I got the 3000 but can
still boot 1.3 if I really need it.
