I have just tried a bar in Freeport, Bahamas by the name of Union Jack, you'd think they'd have a Guinness, but while while there I did finally find a reason to laugh at a Harry Harrison joke in the Bill series (Planet of Ten Thousand Bars, I think) there is actually a brew called Old Percular. TV Evangelists? well that's a southern thing and the physcology of it baffels me, any region that eats grits and chicklins, and their family tree dosn't have any branchs, has to be a little strange. Although there is a Steve Martin movie: Leap of Faith which had me (ROTFWLIA). Heres another thought: the decline of the Brit Empire was completed when they went decimal, any culture that had so many mathmatical bases i.e. base of 12 for pennies, base of 20 for shillings, base of 8 for pints etc. must have a reasonable school system else everyone would be wandering around going is 17/6 the right change from a five for a pint of Guinness. Loved Blackadder, though Mr Bean is the one for me, pity there is so few of them, I always thought a series had to have 100 shows before being syndicated? Alternative uses for floppy disks, Number 11: Lining warp containment fields – Graham, Looking for Guiness in all the wrong places.
