#A4008 Screw-Up!!
I don't know who to complain to BUT… your A4008 just cooked a NEW
MAXTOR 7345S 345Meg. Hard Drive!!! After installing, per your
instructions (and I've installed many a drive), The unit would not
prep via your software. I powered down, removed the Amiga 4000 case
and was shocked that the drice was SO HOT I couldn't touch it. Upon
further investigation, I discovered that the GENIUS who wired the
power plug REVERSED ALL THE WIRES (i.e. 5 VDC going to 12 VDC and
VISA Versa). Who is going to pay to replace my NEW HARD DRIVE!!!!
I've never had any quarrell with GVP…until now! Please HELP.
$315.00 OUT THE WINDOW due to someones ineptness.
