#CES update

Well people, this is your sysop back from a long day of walking and long night
of partying. A few new products were sighted for the Amiga today, here's the
following summary:
MicroProse – Silent Service. This is a Submarine adventure which should be
available in the 4th quarter.
Progressive Peripherals – They had a couple of nice productivity pieces to
show. The first was a Database called Superbase. Most of the specs for this
program say it's unlimited. But I'll reserve my judgement on it until it's
released in 4th quarter 86 another product which they had was Logistix. This is
another productivity piece which integrates a database, timesheet, spreadsheet
and graph output. Looked nice for a demo, but it is far from being done. They
said it was 45 days from completion, I give it 90-120 days before release.
Electronic Arts – This was excellant news from them, Instant Music is in
production and will be released in 3 weeks. Marble Madness will be released
in 3 weeks, Deleluxe Video will also be released in 3 WEEKS!!! Following
those, 6 weeks from now, will be Chess 2000 and Adventure Construction set.
Continuing from there in the future, there will be Bard's tale, Deluxe Music
and and a few others.
Well, I hope that picked up your night! I played with instant music and it
was GREAT!! I had a ball with it, so it get my recommendation for must have,
and you can also put the music from that into Deluxe Video. I also had the
opputunity to play with Marble Madness, it looked great, but still had a few
glitches here and there. That's it for now, I have to check on some eluding
