Interlace is when you can pluck the thin horizontal lines from the hand of
the NTSC master timing signal, Grasshopper. Actually, any NTSC signal that
carries the same information as the Amiga puts out when using DPaint, text,
etc. will cause flicker on a TV too. It's the nature of the information
content, and the contrasts thereof that cause the flicker. The price we pay
